From the minute I saw her, Barbara gave me the sense of someone firmly grounded in herself. She gave me the sense of someone who's been there done that. But as much as she embodies wisdom, knowledge, and experience, there's also a palpable feeling of openness that emanates from her. She's curious and eager to learn and explore new things, just like a child does. I found that to be a refreshing and adorable quality.
Barbara has devoted a great deal of her life to serving others, and has held a number of positions of leadership. Along the way, she's created a strong network of people that look up to her and respect her. I can see how that could happen. In the short time I met her, she had my respect and admiration.
