Laura B

Laura and I met about a zillion years ago in another life on a prior version of the planet now known as Miami. She and her husband owned a music studio; I was a copywriter. We worked on jingles, promotional music beds and even commercial songs together. It was a very creative period for all of us. Then, after a while we went our separate ways. And now that we're all back to being our most soulful and creative again, we've reunited. And I honestly have to say that I couldn't be happier that it is Laura who's helped launch 3+ things virtually AND globally, but I'm not surprised. That's exactly how things work when you’re soulful and creative. 

The list that Laura sent over initially was a bit different from the list she details in her video, but as she mentions, she has many other loves. Some of those other loves include the people in her life she holds dearest: her mother, her husband and her teacher. I would add her sense of style, design and, more importantly, her energy and joyfulness to this list. 

Laura is ageless, as it's plain to see, and there's a purity and playfulness about her, much like a child's. In fact, when she speaks about her love for nature, justice and ethics, I couldn’t agree more. I remember when, as part of their position in the local industry, she would be asked to get involved in or lead certain events and associations. At times, it might not have something she sought to do, but if she felt a responsibility to do it, she would do it with enthusiasm and a sense of grace that left folks in awe of what she could accomplish.
