I first met Kathy at a Soroptimist event. She happens to be the Director of the local chapter. Even though we only spoke a few words, I quickly sensed that this was an exceptionally smart woman. Once at the workshop, I realized she's not just smart, but also wise and caring.
Kathy's made nature the backdrop of her life and career. She came to Borrego Springs many years ago for what she thought would be a short mission, but the desert spoke to her and she succumbed to it's unrivaled mystique. She's lived and worked in Borrego ever since.
I was honored to meet Kathy, and hope our paths will continue to cross as we both seek out ways to make this world a better place.
