3. Mi salud - My health
Rossy's notes:
This is my mother. She's 85 years old, Cuban, and has dementia. She also has a lot of energy and is in great physical health.
It's interesting to watch how she remembers things that are important to her, especially if they have to do with going somewhere or having fun. But most of the time, she can't remember much. In fact, something I'm glad she's forgotten is her ego. She's now totally transparent and embracing of those around her. I find that to be a very loving gift that's been bestowed upon both of us.
Something my mother failed to mention is how she loves her vivacity and how much she loves life. And so do I. She's always ready for a good time and goes along with most everything I say or do, which can lead to some very unique and fun experiences. But even when she's not up to it, she still allows me to capture her just as she is, which is refreshing and heart-warming for me. I don't ever pose her; I just have her stand or sit somewhere and just watch and click. That's what you see here.
