My 3+ things:
I first met Melissa a couple of years ago at Borrego Art Institute where I was delighted to learn that she had sold every one of the four paintings she was exhibiting and which I was absolutely in love with - such an array of shapes and colors, such happiness on canvas. Melissa's art intuitively calls to you, no matter what style or palette you prefer. It's playful. It's fun. Just like she is.
I've gotten to know Melissa a bit more and found her to be curious, joyful, funny. But beware, because inside this bubble of spontaneity and creativity dwells a very smart and introspective woman. It was a real treat to get to know her better during my one-day workshop. I'm grateful for her friendship.
