Kristine really took me by surprise. She's nymph-like yet strong and fearless. We met at a forested trail, her happy place. While we had chatted about what she would wear, I didn't expect her to show up wearing it, but there she was donning a delicate dress over hiking sneakers. However, no sooner did I start shooting that she kicked off her shoes and walked nonchalantly over rocks, twigs, trunks and all kinds of other unknowns as if she were a yogi walking on hot coals, totally oblivious to any harm that could come her way. I looked on in astonishment - such a tiny and lithe creature, yet so fearless. 

Kristine had said to me that fearlessness was one of the traits she loves about herself. She specifically mentioned being able to eat just about any kind of critter without the slightest bit of trepidation, regardless of how many legs or moving parts it had. That certainly conjured up images in my mind, and while I did attempt to capture her fearlessness, I decided to leave out the bugs. 

Some of the other things Kristine loves about herself but failed to mention in her video are that she's adventurous, courageous, kind, loving, generous, and thoughtful. Besides her wavy hair and height, she also loves her eyes and her hummingbird tattoo.
